The GP32 is a handheld console made by Korean company Game Park and sold only on Asian countries. Instead of cartridges or disks, it's games could either be downloaded from the Internet or purchased on SmartMedia flashcards. Despite it's relative obscurity, the system achieved cult status due to it's very active homebrew scene, something that was actually encouraged by Game Park. It was later succeeded by the Linux-based GP2X
